Exemplary Accreditation
St. Boniface School earned Exemplary Accreditation Status by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for providing excellence in curriculum, instruction, and resources in April of 2007. Of 119 Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, only 14 have attained exemplary status, and only 4 have received this award in the curriculum category. St. Boniface is fully accredited by the Office of Child and School Ministry of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and by the Wisconsin Association of Non-Public Schools. St. Boniface School curriculum encompasses all subjects required by the State of Wisconsin and the Archdiocese.
Faculty
St. Boniface has 17 full-time teachers and 4 aides that assist the K4, K5, math and technology classrooms. All teachers are dedicated to excellence in education, have achieved their Bachelor’s degrees, and are Wisconsin Certified. Eight teachers have obtained their Master’s degrees. All teachers earn graduate credits each year as a part of their continuing education and certification requirements.
Academic Success
St. Boniface excels at preparing students for high school and beyond. Many graduates who attend Germantown High School place into honors classes and go on to take Advanced Placement (AP) classes. St. Boniface School graduates are well represented as valedictorians at Germantown High School. For the class of 2009, 3 of the 6 valedictorians were St. Boniface graduates. Graduates also pursue a variety of Catholic high schools including Marquette, Divine Savior Holy Angels, Catholic Memorial, Pius XI and Dominican. You will also find St. Boniface alumni at a wide variety of colleges and universities including the Air Force Academy.
Reading Readiness and Development
Prior to school starting in September, ingoing K4, K5, and 1st grade students are tested individually. K4 and K5 students are evaluated to determine their developmental levels regarding fine and gross motor skills, academic skills (basic knowledge of letters, numbers, shapes and colors) as well as social skills. Ingoing 1st grade students are evaluated for their strengths and weaknesses in reading.
