Confirmation is the sacrament of Christian maturity. In receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, the baptized are enriched and strengthened in their witness to Christ. Those receiving this sacrament do so as young adults or older, at time in their life when they can freely and maturely make a commitment to their baptism and their faith. To fully understand the presence of the Holy Spirit in our journey, preparation is required for Confirmation.
