The Human Concerns Committee will be collecting new long underwear, socks and toiletries for the homeless people who reach out for help through Repairers of the Breach in Milwaukee. We will conduct a reverse collection called "Undies Sunday" during Masses on January 7th and 8th. By choosing a slip of paper from our baskets, you will be asked to donate items such as (new) long underwear, undershirts, socks (larger sizes preferred), or toiletries such as hand lotion, soap, shampoo, etc. These items will help keep the homeless in Milwaukee warmer during the cold winter months. Please place your purchased items on the side table in the hallway next to the Food Pantry. The homeless folks will be carefully selecting the items they need most from our assortment of donations. May God bless you abundantly for your kindness. Questions? Contact Deacon Jim Chrisien at 262-677-2179. Visit www.repairers .org
Immersion Day January
What is Immersion Day? A day spent becoming familiar with Repairers of the Breach - a day shelter for the homeless in Milwaukee. It's a process. It's a "board meeting"... learning how to help, listening to people witness what Repairers of the Breach means to them ... a day of understanding. Join us and become more familiar with Repairers of the Breach, a place where we minister to the hungry and the homeless in Milwaukee. The experience is for adults only, and both men and women are invited to participate. We will carpool to Repairers of the Breach in Milwaukee. .
