St. Boniface offers two programs which reduce the cost of tuition for individual families as well as a number of fundraisers to offset budget expenses or make academic advances.
The St. Boniface Scrip Program (Tuition Reduction)
The Scrip program is a simple and effective fundraiser that involves the purchase of gift cards from hundreds of local and national merchants. Each merchant sells the gift cards at a discounted rate ranging from 2% to 20%. The cards are sold for their face value and the discount is used to benefit the parish, school and faith formation programs. 70% of this profit can be used as a tuition credit, while the remaining percentage supports the parish and the scrip program. Families have earned over $1,000 annually towards their tuition by purchasing Scrip for stores where they routinely shop (grocery stores, gas stations, local restaurants, etc).
Market Day (Tuition Reduction)
Market Day is a monthly food sales program in which St. Boniface families are able to apply 10% of the cost of their total monthly order towards reducing their tuition for the next school year. Market Day foods include: kid friendly snacks, beverages, quick cook entrées and sides, and desserts. All products carry a 100% money back guarantee.
Apple Pie Sale
All St. Boniface families are requested to participate in our annual “Apple Pie Sale” through pie sales and working at least one shift during the apple pie production in October. The money raised may be used to supplement field trips, major purchases for the school, and other budget items.
Dinner Auction
The dinner auction is a semi-formal evening event featuring a dinner, silent auction, classroom gifts auction, voice auction, raffles and entertainment. Proceeds from the event are earmarked for specific purposes to benefit our school and parish community. Monies raised in the past have funded the computer lab and construction of new classrooms.
Magazine Sale
Each winter St. Boniface School sponsors a magazine sale. St. Boniface students are asked to sell magazine subscriptions at their publisher’s price and 50% of the cost comes back to support St. Boniface’s programs
