All staff and volunteers that work with our children are required to complete the Safeguarding All of God's Family program. The purpose of the program is to protect our children and all in the church family from sexual abuse and related dangers. This program was formerly referred to as "Virtus." Safeguarding is an Archdiocesan program that all parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee must abide by. The Safeguarding contact person at St. Boniface is Jessica Quintanilla, Youth Minister. To learn more about the Safeguarding process contact Jessica (details found below) Additional information from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee can be found here.
St. Boniface is required to keep records of everyone that has participated in either the original Virtus program or the current program. If you are unsure if you have completed this program in the past, please contact Jessica Quintanilla (details found below).
Before you can work with our children and youth in our ministries you are required to attend a Safegaurding session and read and sign the Code of Ethical Standards and the Mandatory Reporting document. You can register for a Safeguarding session at the link above.
